MAACE 2024: Family Fun Anatomy Day
October 19: The Malaysian Anatomy Association (MAA), in collaboration with the Medical Faculty, UiTM Sungai Buloh, hosted the inaugural MAA Convention and Exhibition (MAACE) to celebrate World Anatomy Day. The theme was “Family Fun Anatomy Day”, and it attracted a total of 300 participants. This event was held concurrently with the Intervarsity Innovation Competition, showcasing 17 exhibits featuring innovation from 10 universities.
This innovation was centred around an anatomy-themed competition designed to be interactive and educational, appealing to families with both adults and children. Each highlighted innovation captivated participants, who thoroughly enjoyed engaging with the various booths. The booths that participated in the competition included:

6. Inside out: Body-pedia (AIMST University)
7. From Feast To Faeces (NuMed)
8. Dice Dreamer (USM)
9. CircuMap (USIM)
10. Anatomy Beyond Boundaries: Transforming Learning with HoloLens (IMU)
11. Bone by Bone: Skel-Learn Adventure (UiTM)
12. Elevating Anatomy: A Deep Dive into the Foot’s Arch (UPM)
13. The Story of Brachial Plexus (IMU)
14. Dynamic Movers (USM)
15. Gastronauts: A Voyage Through Your Inner Universe (UTAR)

17. Flex Your Fun- The Muscle Party’s Begun (Quest International University)
At the end of the program, prize-giving sessions were held, and innovation medals were awarded. Three booths received gold medals, five received silver, and eight received bronze medals.

The Best Anatomy Innovator award was presented to Dice Dreamer from USM, who received a cash prize of RM 300. This event was supported by sponsors; Modiezham Sdn Bhd, AZ Bookstore, Insan Saintifik, and Citra Maju Bistro and Caterers.
